Why your business needs email on its own domain
Business email hosting gives your company its own addresses, such as name@yourcompany.co.uk, on a server that someone looks after. An address on your own domain tells a customer this is a business. A free address tells them it might be temporary.
Email is not dying; it is growing. More than 4.4 billion people use it, according to The Radicati Group. Quotes, contracts, invoices and the password resets for every other service all arrive there, so whoever holds the mailbox holds the keys to the rest.
Free email lives off adverts and content analysis, and nobody is in charge of it. A quote in the customer’s spam folder, a full mailbox, email that will not work on a phone: without someone responsible, these problems come back every month.

An extra layer of protection Artificial intelligence that reads for fraud
Most attacks on businesses start with an email. On top of the usual filters, a language model on our own graphics card reads each incoming message and looks for what an alert employee would notice: time pressure, a request for a transfer or a password, a sender who does not match the signature. The protection has run on our first servers since September 2026 and is being extended after a trial period.
- Four verdicts: safe, suspicious, phishing, or phishing aimed at a specific person
- Nothing is deleted; a person decides
- Your emails are not sent to any external AI service
- When the model is down, mail arrives as normal

Questions about business email hosting
Can we keep our own domain?
Yes. Your addresses stay on your company’s domain, and we set up the domain records for you, including SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
Is moving our email free?
Yes. Migration is free at every level, and we move messages, accounts and archives without interrupting your working day. See how the move works.
Where is our email stored?
On servers in UK or EU data centres, so you have a clear, documented answer to where your mail is held, which supports your own compliance with UK GDPR.
Do you read our emails?
No. There are no adverts and nobody reads your messages. The AI filter that checks for phishing runs on our own servers, and your emails are not sent to any external AI service.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Use webmail in any browser, an email app over IMAP, POP3 and SMTP, or ActiveSync for mail, calendar and contacts on VIP accounts.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
Three mechanisms that confirm a message really comes from your domain. SPF lists the servers allowed to send your mail, DKIM signs each message and DMARC tells other servers what to do with messages that fail. The NCSC’s free Check your email security tool shows whether your domain has them.
